Other Important Details:

1. Unlike the previous championships, the 2021 Naija Mathematics Championship and Naija English Championship will be conducted across Nigeria. When we started our journey in 2014, we concentrated our effort on only Lagos State schools and later extended our service to the 5 other South West States of Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti and Osun and finally got to Bayelsa State. We have gained enough experience in online assessments to warrant our reaching out to every corner of Nigeria.

2. The 2021 Naija Mathematics Championship and Naija English Championship would be taken by students using their smartphones, computers, laptops and other mobile devices. Additional online assessment(s) may be required to determine our final champions. Schools without internet access will be served by a combination of Computer Based Testing and Paper-and-pencil. Assessments can also be undertaken in schools directly in their schools (where schools can provide online assessment infrastructure) without recourse to approved testing centers.

3. Registration and payment is fully online. Our online payment is powered by Remita and it offers many options for payment from the use of cards to payment at the bank after generating an invoice to direct debit to the bank account of the applicant.

4. Students are issued unique usernames and passwords upon completion of registration and full payment. Ensure students keep their usernames and password to be used on the assessment day.

5. We have developed a new website with the following unique features:

(a) all past questions/answers and practice questions can be accessed on the website.

(b) there is a assessment platform to assess and reward students on an ongoing weekly basis, Ensure to get students to sign up at before attempting the Weekly NaijaChamp.

(d) a record of the performance of the student is archived and can be shared with teachers, parents and guardians.

So far, we have given out prizes worth over N5M for the four Championships we have organized so far.

Prizes on offer for the 2021 Naija Mathematics Championship and Naija English Championship are as follows:

• 18 prizes to the best students (1st/2nd/3rd) in the 6 class categories of JSS1-SS3
